The company story began in 1996, when our founder built his livelihood through welding and the kind of hands-on work where reputation follows every finished job. Those early years established the standards that still guide us today: understand the material, respect the craft, and stand behind the work.
That foundation led to work as a union ironworker, where experience grew across structural steel, demanding jobsites, and the realities contractors face in the field. Welding remained central, but the work expanded into a deeper understanding of how steel is selected, handled, fabricated, and installed.
Over time, that field experience became a steel supply business. Bullet Iron Econo Metals was built to give contractors, fabricators, shops, and everyday customers access to material with practical guidance, fair dealing, and service from people who know what the steel is expected to do after it leaves the yard.
After completing military service, the next generation returned home and stepped into the business with a clear goal: protect what made Bullet Iron valuable while making the company faster, easier to work with, and ready for its next chapter. Today, we combine decades of trade experience with responsive communication, online ordering, delivery coordination, and the personal accountability of a local family business.
